Z&A Consulting Engineers, as a Consortium with SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.r.l, Beta Studio S.r.l. and Geomatics Civil Engineering Surveyors Ltd. was awarded a new contract in Kenya for the assessment of suitability and the design of performance-based contracts (non-revenue water reduction) for a cluster of five Water Service Providers(WSPS). 

During the first phase of the project the objectives of the assignment are:

• Carry out an initial assessment of the NRW situation and prevailing conditions at each of the five Water Service Providers
• Explore a suitable framework for the implementation of a Performance-Based Contract (PBC) for NRW reduction at each WSP;
• Develop a corresponding indicative PBC scope.

The second phase of the assignment will involve the development of a Performance-Based Contract for implementation at each WSP and the production of the related bidding documents.
