SELECTION OF CONSULTING SERVICES FOR NON‐REVENUE WATER REDUCTION STRATEGIC PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION MECHANISMS & BUSINESS PLAN DEVELOPMENT OF HAWASSA, WOLAITA‐ SODO AND ARBA‐MINCH TOWNS WATER SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE AUTHORITY

Feb 2023.  Workshop for the presentention of the report which describes a wide range of Basic Activities which were carried out in implementation of the Non-Revenue Water Strategic Plan for the cities of Hawassa, Arba Minch and Sodo. Such activities included the updating of the existing water network maps, the processing of the billing databases and the analysis of Billed Metered Consumption, the calculation of the System Input Volume to the cities water network, a review of network operating practices, and the preparation of a Preliminary IWA Water Balance followed by the evaluation of Key NRW Performance Indicators and the resulting performance assessment for the three cities.

Nigeria - Feasibility Studies and Detailed Design of Benue River Basin Water Resources Development and Management Programme for Formulation of TRIMING II

October 2022. Z&A as a member of a consortium signed a new contract in Nigeria.The main objective of this Consultancy services is to carry out detailed land and water resources study, on the basis of which to formulate an appropriate water resources development and investment project for the Benue River Basin lying in the North Eastern and North Central corridors

CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR UP‐SCALING THE SHIRE RIVER OPERATION DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM (ODSS) THROUGH ENHANCED HYDROMET NETWORK SYSTEM IN MALAWI

In August of 2022 Z&A as leader of a consortium with 

CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO CONDUCT REVIEW OF DETAILED DESIGNS, DETAILED FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAILED DESIGN STUDIES OF IRRIGATION SCHEMES IN BALAKA, DEDZA, MACHINGA, CHIKWAWA AND THYOLO DISTRICTS – DESIGN PHASE

June 2022. A new contract was signed by Z&A in association with Design & Management Consultants (MW) for the Detail Design study of various sites in Malawi. The new irrigation schemes to be assessed through this consultancy are separated into two groups. Group A sites: Kasangadzi, Mazame and Nkawinda (Total Target Area 480 Ha) and Group B sites: Utale, Kamwaza, Khwisa, Lisungwi, Phandiro, Ndundumale, Nkhawazantha and Ulande. (Total Target Area 649 Ha)

New Contract - FEASIBILITY STUDY, DETAILED DESIGN OF MULTIPURPOSE WATER HARVESTING STRUCTURES - STAGE A – DESIGN PHASE

A new contract was signed with the Ministry of Water and Sanitation of Malawi in August of 2022

July 2022 , New Contract for Consultancy Services for the Water and Sanitation Development Projects (WSDP) in Kenya

Z&A Consulting Engineers, as a Consortium with SGI Studio Galli Ingegneria S.r.l, Beta Studio S.r.l. and Geomatics Civil Engineering Surveyors Ltd. was awarded a new contract in Kenya for the assessment of suitability and the design of performance-based contracts (non-revenue water reduction) for a cluster of five Water Service Providers(WSPS).

A seven day training was contacted from the 22nd until the 29th of January 2022 in Athens, Greece by Roikos Engineering Consultants and Z&A Consulting engineers within the framework of the project ‘’Consulting Services for Development of an Integrated City Wide Sanitation Plan, Feasibility Study and Detail Design of Waste Water Management System for Arba Minch and Sodo Towns under the Second Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project’’

November 2019, New Contract for the Detailed Feasibility and Design Studies and Construction Supervision of New Irrigation Schemes in Malawi

Z&A Consulting Engineers, in a Consortium with Design Management Consultants (DMC) was awarded it's first contract in Malawi for conducting Detailed Feasibility and Design Studies, and the Construction Supervision of New Irrigation Schemes.
